My Facebook Ads Journey

(Behind the Scenes) Back To The Drawing Board

This morning I have temporarily turned off my Facebook ads to do some more learning and work on my new landing pages, which have not been converting. One is converting at 7% and the other at 4%.

Thanks and a shout out to my friend and colleague Daniella Pozzolungofrom Pup Digital who has been helping me on this FB ads learning curve, and who is a great person to speak to if you are wanting some help in this arena.

Seeing me struggle and fumble, another friend had said to me, don't bother learning FB ads, leave it to the experts. And although this is good advice I am choosing keep learning myself. The reason being that you have to keep tweaking them and testing and measuring the ads, and this is something I want to take full responsibility for. (And plus I love a challenge).

At the start I was terrified to touch anything and now I can confidently go in and change copy and change video. The next step is going to be to set up some new ads myself for different niches.

So far I have spent $1000 and earned $3,000 making the profit $2,000, (which is very average).

Tomorrow I have a meeting with one of FB's employees who reached out to me, so that will be interesting.

And I am learning through a course I have bought on Udemy.

Why am I bothering to share this?

✔️Some of you may be thinking of FB ads, (like I had been for at least a year before I started), and may be interested.

✔️To highlight that the learning curve's never stop on the business/entrepreneur's journey.

✔️To highlight the importance of testing and measuring as you formulate and implement new strategies which is a big part of decision making.

I could not have started this FB ads journey without Dani by my side, and likewise reach out if you find yourself out on a limb, with no-one to help and hold you accountable to the problem solving and testing and measuring, that is constantly required in business.
